Hi,

as I am not receiving any answer to my question in the german forum support for Pano2VR, I will try it here in English:

I’d like to know if there is any support for the use of VR-Glasses:

Does Pano2VR have an option to generate a button which starts a VR-function in the exported panorama, just as it’s the case in this example from Ogulo https://www.ogulo.de/visualisierung.html (hit the button „Beispiel anschauen“ and then the VR-glasses symbol in the lower right corner) which opens a splitscreen.

If not, does anyone know a program which can handle it or does anyone know which program is used in the example?
I’m also unhappy that panoramas are still jumping when being used with gyroscope control on android phones. Is there any solution to this? I was told by GardenGnome support that buying the newest update would solve the problem, but it didn’t.

Greetings

Hi,

I made this in P2VR: https://lgh.visudata.se/content/16hsbTx ... index.html
Just make your own button in your "skin" and link it to the same P2VR doc but saved with the VR.ggt-html template.

Hi Ladde,

very nice example.

I don't see a stereo effect. Is it because you created the VR as quick stereo mode example only, without stereo image pairs? Or did I something wrong here? I don't use a VR-glasses here, only simple mirror glasses for PC screens.

Your buttons for switching between stereo and mono looks nice. Are this standard buttons by Pano2VR?

Ciao,
Micha

Hi Betzelboo,
Nice tour! What software have you used to model and render it?

Hi Micha

No it´s not stereo. It´s the same projection for both eyes (mono). I dont know if it´s possible in P2VR to do stereoscopic-VR, or what it's called.
The button is very simpel, just a wite symbol made in photoshop saved as an png with alpha. Import it to your skin and put a script to it.

Cheers
Ladde

Yes, in the Pro version you can enable to use nodes as stereo pairs.

Thanks,

Okey, I´v got the pro version, thanks for the tip. I´ll try that later.
I only do 3d rendered images. How do I set up the cameras if I want to create a stereo pair image. How do P2VR want the image?, side-by-side or how?

Mono - if I have seen right many formats are supported, I used the spherical render output
Stereo - two stripes 6x1 (for example V-Ray renders 12x1, you need to cut the image)

Hi,
Foe the VR glasses thing you would make a separate Cardboard output and then in the pano have a cardboard button that links to the HTML page of the cardboard output. As seen in out Layer Marney tour on our examples page.
This thread may help: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10721

For the zoom in before please see transitions.

Hi. Is it possible to make more smooth interpolation viewing tour via web site using typical vr goggles? Im using Android phone Huwawei P20 via Chrome.

Or the only way is to use dedicated hardware like Oculus Rift and so on...?
What is the best way to present vr tour to the clients at the moment?

Hi,
We will be looking at WebVR later within Pano2VR but for now a good solution is https://www.vrtourviewer.com/
