Publishing to Amazon S3

Hello All!

This is my first post, question actually, to which I've already tried to search an answer on the existing posts.

Can anyone please tell me where can I find instructions how to host and publish tours on Amazon S3?

The error I'm getting is: "This content requires HTML5 with CSS3 3D Transforms or WebGL."

Thank you, and
Wishing you all a nice weekend!
Petrit

Hi Plbrahimi,

I've got a sample file playing in a facebook timeline hosted from a free Amazon S3 account. You can see it at https://www.facebook.com/redthreesixty/ ... 3352092804 or the direct link to the panorama is https://s3-ap-southeast-2.amazonaws.com ... index.html

If you'd like I can write a tutorial on how to setup an account, create a bucket where you can upload your Pano2VR files. Note in order to set up an account on Amazon S3 you will need a valid credit card and a phone number for verification.

cheers,

Tony

Thanks a lot Tony.

Your work is truly inspiring!

In the meantime managed to publish my panos via Amazon S3. No I'm facing some tiny problems like display of hotspots...one problem at a time.

Any tutorial from an expert like you is always welcome!

Best,
Petrit

Hi Petrit,

That's great news. I think I might go ahead and write it anyway as I was playing around a bit with it last night. I'd appreciate it if you could give it the once over when I've finished to see it you think it's right.

Your comments are very much appreciated :-)

cheers,

Tony

I think the main question is about to how we can migrate our hosted tours to Amazon S3 or Cloudfront

Wich settings or options must we enable on our S3 bucket to make posible to run our panos from Amazon.

I think a simple upload to a S3 bucket is not enough

Am I wrong ?

Well answer is simple , I have created a bucket , on the options selected web hosting and uploaded a tour.

It is working with ugly and long header but is working.

So the main problem is to setup S3 policy group and set up keys , but I figure there are tutorials around google to show how.

I did time ago ... but honestly I don't remember how I did
