Is it possible to handle partial cylindrical panos in Pano2VR beta6?

There seems to be no way to set the horizontal FOV so the movie wraps as if it was a 360 HFOV.

I tried padding out the cylindrical image to a full 360 HFOV but then all attempts to limit the max. left and right viewpoints is ignored.

Everything works as expected with equirectangular images but not with a partial cylindrical image.

What am I doing wrong or is this just impossible in Pano2VR it seems it is possible with PanoQTVR there's even a tutorial on it for that version.

The trick is to select as input type "cylinder" and enter the horizontal field of view in the box below.

Thank you - sooo simple once you know how.

The automatic recognition of image type, which was correctly recognising my image as cylindrical, meant I had not thought to try a manual selection and was expecting to find a way of setting HFOV in Viewing Parameters.
