TIP: To help forum members describe their issue... it might be good if we could actually see it using this screen capture snippet tool.

Regarding PRINT SCREEN or a key with [ PrtScn ]. Yes this is on our keyboard. It is good for printing from a single monitor screen.

We use dual monitors (Left + Rright) and using [ PrtScn ] will grab both screens. making the actual screen capture zone too small to read.

With windows 8 and 10 Microsoft has also given us a NEW SNIPPET screen grab feature. ITS FREE and very functional.

Its icon by default not on your desktop BUT is located in your local c:// drive folder called system32\SnippingTool.exe

It will let you rubber band box select your portion of the either monitor screen.

It also while selecting the screen snippet use a yellow broad stroke highlighter.

Only function I can not find is the ability to write or use pointy arrows on the snippet. You can hand draw with the pencil feature.

Then asks you to save the snippet to your hard drive or print it.

Here you can see the icon = scissors / red circle.

Note: This Sticky will automatically expire on 31 Oct 16
