Hello,
I'm using hotspots to have popups for text, videos or pictures. Now I want the hotspots to look different for each type.
How can I do that? There must be a way to do so. You can see it in this example project https://ggnome.com/samples/pano2vr_5/tower/.
At the Retainers Courtyard you can see a point with a different icon. If you click it it pops up a picture of a goat.

Is this answering your question?

In your skin editor:
Add a hotspot.
Add in the image you'd like to be associated with the hotspot and position it over the hotspot.
Make the image a child of the hotspot.
Give your hotspot a unique name.

If you have v5, you can save this as a component.

Hi Carolyn,
thank you for your answer.

What do you mean by "give your hotspot a unique name"?
The ID of the hotspot in the skin editor? Or the Hotspotproxy ID? How do I place it in the viewport?

I tried it but it just replaces the normal hotspot...

I thought showing might be easier to avoid confusion.

Let me know if you have problems playing and if this makes sense to you.

Hey Carolyn,
yes I got it now! I just had to put in the ID of the "normal" hotspots to the other hotspots in the viewport!

Thank you so much! It is so nice that you extra made a video for it!
A thousand thanks!
