Hi,
I´m trying to embed my html5 panoramas to my wordpress theme using Panopress (1.2), but I could not find the way to get fullscreen on Ipads from the Iframe. Nothing happens when I click on the Fullscreen button...
It works properly on all browsers and android smartphones.
I am using only the Html 5 outpout.
The link to the panorama is as follow :
[pano file="https://www.xxx.pano.html" width="100%" height="480"]

How can I get the full screen size panorama?
I am missing something ?

100% width 100% height ???

But on an Ipad.. I have read somewhere that your Browser Safari... doesn't use or can not perform screen edge to edge display... safari must have browser edges.

Hope someone can help with Safari issue

We only use PC's.

How did you manage to go Full screen in your web site (Izamalcity) ? Even if we have to use the "previous page" button

Izamal - Build on PC. Full monitor screen - enabled in project see "Add Fulscreen' item. This will NOT toggle full back to normal screen.
This should go full monitor screen size for desktop, tablet and smart phone. BUT not devices that use Safari Browser.

Need to remove full screen [[/]] button from tool bar. Use (X) button icon "back 1 URL browser History" code

And the [red X] button has this code:

Code: Select all

javascript:window.history.back()

I've changed the "control" and added "Fulscreen" Item and, as expected, it doesn't work on Ipad.
Why can I go full screen on your site using Safari with an Ipad ?!

Maybe you can work with these. Its the project + skin file set. I think it is designed to use 9 panoramas with Pano2vr Pro.

All of the project features are being used by other forum members. Please note... the project ADD fullscreen [x] element shown below is not being used.

We only used the toolbar [fullscreen] to toggle from browser window screen to monitor edge fullscreen.

Just replace the panorama blanks with your panorama set and delete the remaining unused blanks.

Thank you for your help.

I've just tried on my Ipad to toggle fullscreen with the button, it do'esnt work.
Maybe there is something I am not doing right.

Perhaps a Panopress problem.
What is weird is that it is really specific to Ipads...

Same problem here on an iPad Mini (as well as on an old iPad 2), both running the latest IOS version ! Whichever dimension I give to the pano in Pano2VR 4.5 or 5, I always get these unequal white borders when viewed "full screen" !

I'm viewing the spherical in Goodreader (AFAIK the only way to load and view 360x180 panoramas on iPad) ! I created an HTML5 and uploaded the *.xml, *.html, *.js, plus the directory IMAGES (containing the 6 cube-faces) to Dropbox, then downloaded into Goodreader !

Any way to get it REALLY full screen ?

Since you are using Drop box you are viewing these on your local computer or devices ? and... not on your website.
I don't see a browser type view port or toolbar because you are using Goodreader as a viewer.
Great color !

Goodreader website:
http://goodreader.com/index.html

Other support ways to transfer files to your idevices.

Indeed, Dave ! The "problem" is slightly different, but just as annoying ! ...and I haven't found a way to get real full screen" in Goodreader !

Now, when wiewing my 180x360 on my iPads, eith from 360Cities or Viewat, here's what I get:

...and there's apparently no way to get rid of the top band :-( !

...but if I look at them on my PC running Firefox (V.47), they are filling the screen !!

:(

Yes, thank you. It seems that it is always the browsers (viewer software) capabilities (or incapability) that create the performance inconsistencies.
Some browsers do not yet support HTML5 and HTML5 with CSS.
Some browsers support FULL SCREEN other do not.

Compare browser feature support here : http://caniuse.com/

Safari only permit partial support. "Fullscreen API for allowing content (like a video or canvas element) to take up the entire screen."
http://caniuse.com/#search=fullscreen

Please Mouse over the red/green browser version and notes boxes to read which versions reason for non-support
Green boxes = support and RED boxes = not supported or partial support
Also look for SAFARI and iOS Safari supported / non supported features.
