I've tried adding the word pano and dragging and dropping but doesn't work with non Theta generated jpgs. Theta generated jpgs do work easy peasy tho'.

If i strip the Metadata from the Theta jpg (Save For Web "NO METADATA") it also doesn't work so it's simply a matadata thing.

Is there an app or Tool to inject metadata into spherical / equirectangular jpgs so we can add them to Facebook - such as with Google Video Metadata Inject Tool ? I'm amazed that Facebook have not given more info on this huge new feature. Tut Tut Facebook.
this Examble on Facebook are a Panorama from 2010 stitched in PTGui from 8 full frame images edited in Pano2VR, the image resized from 15000x7500 to 6000x3000 and just added to Facebook by drag and drop to the timeline (no metadata) i think your images are more than 6000x3000 jpg s

Hi Svendus ... nope ... some are just 6000 x 3000.

PTGui adds the metadata but Photoshop apparently can strip it out when it's edited.

I still can't get my processed 360's to load on Facebook. I'm also using latest browsers etc.

Is there an easier way to add 360 metadata so the Photoshop edited images don't simply upload as spherical / equirectangular photos ?

Here we go Svendus ...

A 360º 8000 x 4000 .psd flattened and saved for web as jpg with all metadata.

I tried uploading and dragging and dropping in Firefox Mac and doesn't work.

I also found that some web browsers don't work on mobile - even with Theta S equirectangular images.

Thanks Svendus ... yes it does work on your Facebook - thanks for testing :)

I'll continue to play and try resizing to 6000 x 3000 and adding the file prefix pano_.

Are you on Mac or PC ? I'm using the latest Mac Firefox so i'll try some other browsers.

Thanks for compliment too :) I'm in England and it always rains here ... that pano was shot in California - The Sunshine State.

Yes it works for me too now ... Thanks !

So just need to add pano_filename_equi and resize to 6000 x 3000.

Is that optimal file size then ?

I do not know about the prefix pano_ on Facebook _equi comes from Pano2VR convection :D max 6000x3000

but you need pano_ in the filename on Google maps !
max file size 7500x3750 - 60 Mb .Tiff

EDIT:Google maps has now reduced file size to 6000x3000 :(
