Hi everyone,
I've been looking through the forum and couldn't find the answer anywhere...

We're trying to create a 360 VR video where the full panoramic would be video (we're thinking about doing a day to night transition which doesn't allow for just embedding pieces of the panoramic as video...)

It does work nicely on a computer but unfortunately not on an IOS and android devices...

I tried many different compression formats for my mp4 but never found any format that actually worked.

I tried to load the mp4 directly on my browser and it reads it natively so I suppose my file format can't be that bad...

Has anyone tried to do that in the past?

This is a link to my test (nothing really fancy but it's just a test):

And a link to the video I'm using :

Thanks for your help!

Hi Cristophe

for the time being Pano2VR Panorama video only works in Google Chrome Browser

in other browsers you only see the Preview image

Thanks!
This wasn't the answer I was hoping for ;)
Are you doing any work to make it compatible with mobile or other browser?
I really like Pano2vr and would love to use it for our project but unfortunately if it doesn't do panorama video on mobile we'll have to use something else...

Do you know about krpano? it seems like they figured out how to make it work on mobile, I'm sure you already know about them but it might be worth looking there?

Hi Svendus,
do you happen to know if Pano2vr will be able to play videos on anything then Chrome anytime soon?

Thanks!

Hi there

This is such a shame as we are using Pano2vr
with Adobe DPS presentations.
This is where within Adobe Idesign we upload the PAno2vr Html
to Adobe who send it back down to a Ipad (magazine style app)
Such a shame as everything else external amazingly works as listed
( external video flat film pulled in via skin, media video and sound),
but just not 360video.
Do we have a timespan on this being resolved?

Pano2vr by the way is tsill great.
Thanks

Thanks Hopki that's great!

Any chance for it to work on internet explorer (I wish no one would use internet explorer but unfortunately some people do still...)
Also, how far are we from being able to play a 360 video on mobile (IOS and Android)?

Thanks!
