Pano2VR beta fails on large images

I work with very large scenic images I shoot with several rows and 50 mm lenses. Or maybe just one row with a 60 mm x 70 mm format camera. My stitched images are often 28,000 x 5000 pixels (or bigger) in size. Pano2QTVR can handle images of that size, but Pano2VR crashes when I try to load them.

Please advise.
