specifically, i'm trying to find a way to disable the keyboard input for pan, tilt, and zoom so the user relies only on the controller buttons.

any ideas?

I agree - what about people who can't use a mouse.

I have a customer that needs panoramas as "movies" for banner ads. Another idea is to control the panorama from outside like move it on a certain path. Granted, it is not the most useful option but there are applications for it.

So long as it is an option to turn on or off I think it is a good idea.
