Is Microsoft Edge as bad as Internet Explorer?

Just installed Windows 10 on a test machine, and tried a few panoramas with Edge - the hotspot text seems to have quite a large offset from here it should be (and is on other browsers).

What's your experience? Will Edge be supported, or is it seen as just another incarnation of bad old Explorer?

I guess the new Win browser is called "Edge" now .

The new browser is indeed called Edge.

You can download Win10 now via this installer. I was impressed by the huge number of options I had to uncheck, but once it's up and running, Win10 looks good to me!

Fact - other examples have stopped working from https://ggnome.com/pano2vr/examples via Microsoft Edge...
except only first example "Layer Marney Tower" - https://ggnome.com/samples/pano2vr_5/tower/ this work is OK (Pano2VR5 beta)

Indeed.I tried the examples in Edge after a clean install of Windows 10:

Layer Marney Tower seems to work fine

Simple Panorama - mouse doesn't seem to work at all, keyboard (arrow keys) do work
Virtual Tour - same
Synagoge - same
Sound - same

My own work seem to work well. The problems I had when I started this thread were in Windows 10 after an update from Windows 8.1. After a clean install, all seems to be well with Edge.
Of course I don't know if it has anything to do with the clean install or perhaps an update my Microsoft, but right now I can't complain.

Hi Harald,
This is a bit odd, I too had the situation of the panoramas not working apart from beta5 output.
I have bug tracked this but now testing again its all working apart from the sound and simple panorama.
Are the tours working for you now?
Windows 10 did do an update so...
That said when you try to open a pano, can you refresh the page, does it then display?
Please let me know if you still have problems, if you do check for Windows updates.

Hi Panayiotis,
The skin was made up from all the components found in version 5's Toolbox.
Of course will need to be made with version 5 for it to function, example can't be used in version 4.5.3.
