First of all, Congrats on pano2VR5! Looking great!
Can't wait to take it for a test ride!
I've been looking into securing my site for embedding panorama's on facebook, but a little question here:
Can cloudflare be used as a means to get the secure connection FB wants? Or do I also need to secure the connection from the website to cloudflare?

Also: I am literally dying to see an example of the Little planet remapping feature!
Lens flares AND little planets, i'm pretty psyched!
Thanks Gnomes for all your hard work!
Embedding in Facebook through cloudflare?
Hi BenderFX,
I took a look at the Cloudflare site and from the look of it it should work. It would be worth testing it by setting up a free account. The free account uses, what they call, Flexible SSL. In this case SSL is terminated at the CloudFlare edge servers. Everything between your client and CloudFlare is encrypted, but between CloudFlare and your origin server is not encrypted. You would not need to secure the connection from your website to cloudflare.
I'd be interested to see how you go with it if you sign up.
cheers,
Tony

HI Guy's
Before you invest in any cash into this, it may be worth seeing what will happen next with the Flash thing. At the moment Facebook only uses Flash to display in its pages.
But if they kick it out...
Just a thought.
Regards,
Hopki

Hi Hopki,
It's interesting that Alex Stamos, Facebook Chief Info Security officer, wants Adobe to set a deadline to kill Flash once and for all, so that developers will move quickly off the old standard. Seeing as they require Flash to embed videos and panoramas in the Facebook timeline. I wonder why, if he is so against Flash, why they haven't replaced them with HTML already across the board?
I guess we need to cut him some slack as he's only just joined and came over from Yahoo.
