Dear all,

I would like to make steady skin elements follow the mobile device's roll movement, just like pinned elements do. The modifier pane only has pan and tilt sources, but no roll source. Is there another way to do what I want, or can this be regarded as a change request? I would then suggest to add a checkmark option to the Appearance-Angle section, like 'rotation follows gyroscope'.

Kinds regards,

Dennis van Duijn

As I didn't receive any response in over 3 years, and I still didn't manage to achieve my goal, I would like to kick this topic. I also edited the title to match the current verision.
Please see the image, where the red line is the current rotation fixed with the skin images and the green line the desired rotation.
Anyone?

Have you tried using 3D distortion already?

Thank you Karyn, but the 3D distortion would result in a hotspot that would scale bigger or smaller along with zooming in or out. I would like to have it the same size overall, indepentent from zooming. Or would there be another solution to accomplish that?

Ah, I see now. We will need to add this as a feature request to add a roll modifier.

That would be great for an even better UX!
