Lakefront Estate in Tennessee

Post by seanbhalliday » Fri Sep 14, 2012 6:16 pm

Hi there,
I believe I have finally getting close to the layout for a Real Estate tour.
Before you have a look, here is what my "vision" was for the layout.

I wanted it clean, not a cluttered brochure, but I wanted people to see all the different
panos available instead of a drop down or something. To clear the clutter of the thumbnails,
I put in the icon to hide them. I wanted to GO BIG and GO BOLD, so this is full screen, not some little
box in the middle of a webpage where people squint to see the tour.
It has a link for a slideshow (flash). This is for the Realtor, you know how they like their "virtual tour" of
a slide show with annoying music that nobody wants to listen to.

This layout works with a min of 1024 by 768 screen, and works on an Ipad (please test if you have an ipad to see).
My next step is to create a skin for an iphone as there was no way to get this to work on such a little screen.
I believe I will have to do a simple drop down to select the 14 panos on an iphone.
Please respond with comments on the tour/skin/panos.
Equipment used:
Nikon D90 w/ 10.5mm fisheye lens
Nodal Ninja 3 MKII Panohead
PTGui to stitch
PhotoShop CS5 to touchup
Pano2VR (started with my V3, but just updated to V4 Beta so it is a mix).
Here is the link to the tour – Enjoy:

Hi

pls share equipment for reference.

Nice tour. Very sharp.

Personal note: The webpage / icon design is a little oldschool.
Consider switching to a more modern look for GUI

interesting nadir patch technique:

either work out how to do it properly, or use a tripod cap. That's just embarrassing, sloppy and spoils the tour!
