There's no question that the hardest bit isn't taking the pics, stitching them or building the tour. It's learning the Skin Editor...

The only thing I would like to see is transitions rather that just node "cuts".
What was the resolution of your equirectangular images?

I've tried the transition options but I really don't like them, they don't seem to flow smoothly like Google streetview ones do. I'll tame another look though.

My images are shot as two rows of 12 shots on a D700, and they're coming out at around 13336x6668. Do you think that's too low/high? I could make them smaller but I think I could only make them bigger by dropping quite a lot of money on a camera upgrade to a D750 or D810.

Just working on a golf club tour right now. 101 nodes, 2424 images and looking good.

I've also found that a simple app on my phone will record GPS data which I can sync with my photos to save a bit of effort when placing them. I've also found out that if I upgrade to PTGui Pro I can batch stitch images and save hours of my time

With regards to transition, I like to use zoom in before and zoom in after.
I disable wait for transition and reduce the transition time.
I also change the zoom, 20 is bit harsh, I use 40 and set zoom speed until you get that to what you like.
I find this gives me/my viewers a sense of moment/moving forward.
