Virtual tours of 2 cruise ships

So here are my 2 latest virtual tours done woth Pano2VR.

Cruise ship Silja Symphony: http://www.tuur.ee/tuurid/10-silja-symf/tour/
Shuttle ship Tallink Megastar: http://www.tuur.ee/tuurid/12-megastar/tour/

The user interface is rather simple, but very polished. The custom font has been used and for the back-forward buttons at the left and right side of the desktop view, i set up a cloner, to make the thumbnails automatically and then loaded these thumbnails into the fields.

There is a separate skin for small-screen devices. And it was the first time I tried to make accordion menu in Pano2vr. No easy way to make it in pano2vr - the cloners for each sumbenu are moving according to the actions set for main menu buttons...

I wish there was a possibility to create custom User Data Fields - as much as one wishes. Similar to creating custom actions or logic blocks. This would be termendous time-saver for tours that need 3 or more different languages... Or for tours that need more text overall...

As alwaws, big thanks for Pano2VR team for developing this excellent piece of software. Hoping to see more posibilities for creating dynamic skins in next versions.

Hi,
For me your first tour has a missing image on the hotspot, 404 file not found.
Check that the node images are uploaded.
Other than that its good, as you say clean and easy to navigate.
Regards,
Hopki

lveerde, I love the way you have done that tour. I find it clear and easy to navigate. Very nice on a mobile device too.
Excellent looking!

Very professional presentation.
Great technique. Sharp and clean images.
Excellent color and white balance.
A lot of ceiling straight lines and tiles. No visible stitching issue. Yes I checked the Zenith and Nadir regions.
No blown out lighting (read over exposed areas) I really like being able to see out the windows and actually see the out side.
Navigation is simple and easy for viewing visitors. Hotspot links graphic are easy to find.

Your high imaging quality and tour design really does SELL your clients product - a delightful cruise experience.
Having virtually walked through the ships... I am now familiar with the ships layout and when actually on board will be able to ship locations to buy food, drink and visit lounging areas.

Concept: LOOK and BOOK !

LOLLLL Yes, I was looking for a link button to click to proceed to your clients booking page so I can buy a cruise trip.

Hi,

Great job. I like the clean lines of the interface and the Previous/Next buttons are great for a linear tour. The panoramas are crisp and well exposed.

Just curious, I see you have a different skin for each language. Was there a reason to create individual skins as opposed to using variables and logic blocks to deliver different language versions in a single skin?

cheers,

Tony

Hello Tony.
Thank you for kind words.

I would have liked to make the languages using variables. And i`m sad I could`nt because this means more work in changing the tour.
There were many languages and I ran out of user data fields. This is why i could not make the languages with variables... :(
It would be nice if one could add and name user data fields in Pano2Vr. The same way we can add Actions or Variables in Skin Editor. That would be awesome.

Also I have not found a way to make variable-languages when texts are in hotspot field. Maybe there is some dynamic way but I dont know :)

For multi language hotspots for now just stack hotspots on top of each other. Using logic block just show the one you need.
Then each hotspot can have its own language.
Text boxes of course can use logic blocks to show different text so that should be all basses covered in one skin.

Hopki

Wow. Great workaround for hotspots. Will use it for sure! Thank you, Martin :)

Hello,
I,m sorry guys, but this skin is ordered by and built for this specific compay and I can not share it. Also, as a main design element, it uses a paid font that is licensed for this company.
