Hi,

two days ago I catured a panorama of the summer milky way. I hope you like it.

http://panoristik.de/daten/milchstrasse ... index.html

Does anyone know how i can change the language of the hotspots. With textboxes it is easy to change it with a variable, but there is no logic block at hotspots ...

Regards,

Rainmaker

Truly fascinating. Were you able to identify any man made satellites or space station ?

Thank you for show and tell.

Hi Rainmaker,
You could have put English in the Hotspot description text field in the hotspot viewer mode.
Then you can use a set value to change the placeholder to $hd for the tool tips.

Hi,

@ 360Texas,

satellites are easy to identify because they are moving. In a photograph the would look like a weak line between the stars. An exeption is the is the ISS it is very bright. It seem that in ths pano were no bright satellites, the only tacks I found were from planes, so I deleted them.

@ Hopki,

okay, now the translation for the pointhotspots can be seen, but In dont know how to display the texts of the polygon hotspots within the floating tooltip. Do you have an idea?

Regards,

Rainmaker

Hi Rainmaker,
Im not sure how you got around your problem but the way you would do it is use the variable and text logic block to change the placeholder.
In fact this would be the way to do it with a text box which is a child of the point hotspot template.

Hopki

Hi,

@ Hopki,

I had a small problem with the logic block of the tooltip to show the right placeholder. So I used the stupid solution with two tooltips. One for the english and one for the german translation. Could you please tell me why you used the expressions  $hs  and  $hd  instead of $hs and $hd.

@ Emil_GITech,

I used a Nikon D800, but I think it would be better to use an Canon, because the D800 gets some color (magenta) problems in the darks if the vignetting is corrected at hi iso images.

@ Svendus,

the compass is a modified Version from a tour that I bought some years ago. It is a little bit tricky because it does not care where the north is set in pano2vr. Instead it needs the north at the left side of the equi.

Rainmaker

There are 2 flavors of .png. We typically use only png24 file types.

Png8 is solid.. no transparency 8bit file
Png24 contains the transparency color channel 24bit file

We create png24 file type using Photoshop SAVE for WEB option

Hi Rainmaker,
The code was to add padding to the text box.
But 5.1 has this sorted with a much nicer way.
