Hello,

I have just bought your software pano2QTVR 1.5 beta v6

As I have tried to export in flash, I get strange result as I am panning

with the mouse to the right or left..images break into one another...

as it turns ! I bought this software for this export option and I am asking

if there is a solution : can I send it the animation to you Thomas ?

I upgraded to Macromedia Flash v8.

What should I do ?

A.

Uhhh.... I am not sure what you mean... normally this should work fine. Can you send me a screenshot + the pano to web@pano2qtvr.com? I never heard any similar case.

I've just used the Flash stuff for the first time and I think that the rendering quality of Flash is not half as good as with QT. I too think that the Flash version of a pano has too much distortion:

The distortion in the straight lines is even more visible with panning.

That being said, I think that it is a Flash problem, not a PAN2QTVR bug.

PS. I'm new here, so... Hi everybody :D

Hi Miriam; try to use a bigger number in the flash tab, in the quality section.

Also uncheck the checkbox "automatic decrease when moving". If you like this behavior better. The best thing is to play around with the parameters.
Also it is good to shift the panorama before convert it so that the center of the equirectengular looks straight onto the center of f.e. the wall if you have a panorama of a room. Then all other walls will match (more or less) the cubic projection so the resulting Flash pano will look less distorted.
