Hi! Good conception :D

1-2 Q:

Possible to optimize ugly 'wave distortions' into projection with movement procedure?

Or it's a constant behaviour new Matrix in Flash v8-9?

Is noticeably with e.g Urban's Buildings ...

Thnx

You can only minimize the distortion if you increase the quality with the slider, but this also decreses the speed. You have to find an optimal compromise for your needs/subject. Flash 8 doesn't have a 3D engine so I have to do the math for projection in software which slows down the whole thing.

Yes it is a problem... while it is inevitable...

Does the flash controller need to be a named file called 'controller.swf' or can it be any flash created file name ending with .swf ?

After creating a Flash panorama... do I understand properly that the file called controller.swf must be in the same folder as the new panorama.swf ?

I am thinking that the controller tool bar is a layer over the top of the panorama layer.

Does this controller.swf have to be the same physical width dimenison as the the panorama.swf ?

If the controller.swf has a smaller width, is it placed in the lower left corner (x = 0, y=bottom left corner vewer window regardless of resizable panorama width).

It can have any name except it should end to .swf and it should be in the same folder (to make things easier) but you can point the path to any directory you like. It is an extra movieclip (not a layer...) on top of the pano but it can be any dimension. At the moment it is always in the lower left corner but I will make this configurable.

Ok.. I understand. Thankyou

Ok.. In Flash MX created a flat stage with a picture logo - no animation or functions and generated and named it controller.swf.

On the Flash Tab, for the controller box I just wrote the name 'controller.swf' no path [actual file was in another folder ].

Created the Flash and called it hd360.swf The preview (uses flash09 debug) did not show the controller.swf in the lower left corner.

Copied the hd360.swf and the new controller.swf over into a new folder.

Clicked on the hd360.swf and the controller.swf flat picture was not displayed in the bottom left corner. On right mouse click.. it said I was using Flash 9.

BTW I did try to same thing with the Flash 8 controller.swf 6kb and it did not display.

Hmm guess I need to learn how to do this properly.
