Having issues with making sure that the Flash version installed on my computer is current.

3 machines..
1 has standalone version 7
1 has standalone version 8
1 has standalone version 9 (got it fixed)

Flash Player 2 to Flash player 9 (including stand alone debugger versions)

EDITED 29 December 2007 Correction

http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplaye ... s.html#fp9

Item #3 "Download the Windows Flash Player 9 Projector content debugger (EXE, 3.69 MB)"

Now all 3 machines are stand alone version 9 debugger and work properly. And IE 6 SP2 has Flash browser plugin version 9,0,115,0

Thanks Erik and Klaus

I really couldn't make any sense of your post until I looked at that Adobe downloadpage. It seems to me you've got the wrong one!
Try this one:
http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplaye ... s.html#fp9

There you'll find a standalone player (sa_flashplayer_9_debug.exe for Windows) that's only 3.60MB (version 9-0-r115). Click on the link "Download the Windows Flash Player 9 Projector content debugger (EXE, 3.69 MB)". When downloaded you don't have to unpack or install it, it works as it is! Just place it in an appropriate folder. In Windows Explorer (Tools-Folder Options) you can then manually select your new standalone player to always open your .swf files, and that's it.
If you're using a Mac choose the right version from the list for your particular machine.

Hope this helps.

Could it be your url references are for browser plug in versions ? and my urls are for stand alone debug installations ? Browser version 9 is 9.0.r115 1.59mb.

One thing for sure.. Adobe is NOT very clear as to which is for browser and stand alone version.

Issue is that Pano2VR calls the stand alone version located on your hard drive.

When you look at your panorama on the internet web site you are using the smaller Flash broswer version.

See above revised comments:

No, no, Dave!
Erik is right.
On the downloadpage Erik listed above, you'll find
under Section 'Flash 9' =>
pos. 1 -> WIN plugin for IE (1.59 MB)
pos. 2 -> WIN plugin for netscape/firefox (1.56 MB)
pos. 3 -> WIN standalone/projector sa_flashplayer_9_debug.exe (3.69 Mb)

Saludos,
Klaus
