need a little advice

I have an old project I am looking for a way to revive -- a fictitious art museum-- that is a series of nodes with Flash interactions sprinkled throughout. In it's original incarnation it is just a bunch of 360 pans with no warping at all

so the illusion isn't nearly as good as some of the pans I've seen produced hereabouts.

I'd really like to be able to use the tools here but cannot see just how I might float a Flash layer within a QTVR movie or, even better, float hidden hotspots within the Flash version. Is there a way marry a sprite layer to a vr background?
