How it look likes when you see it in full screen?
The problem is that I can't dynamically resize the stage on flash, so I chose 1280x1024 and used "Stage.scaleMode = "exactFit";". If I could change dynamically the stage size I could use the "with stage" option to avoid distortions.
Any tip to address this issue?

Thanks,

Ricardo

I restrict the full screen size in the html page code. Notice below the image is restricted to 700 x 433 px dimensions.

Code: Select all

 <script language="javascript">
<!--
			if ((window.p2q_Version) && (window.p2q_Version>=1.3)) {
				// Check to see if the version meets the requirements for playback
				if (DetectFlashVer(8,0,0)) {
					p2q_EmbedFlash('lhpano2.swf','700','433');
				} else { // flash is too old or we can't detect the plugin
					document.write('<b>This content requires Adobe Flash Player Version 8 or higher. '
								 + '<a href=http://www.adobe.com/go/getflash/>Get Flash</a></b><br>');
				}
			} else {
				document.writeln('<br><b>p2q_embed_object.js is not included or it is too old! Please copy this file into your html directory.</b><br>');
			}
//-->
		</script>
		<noscript>
			<br><b>Please enable Javascript!</b></br>
		</noscript>
Notice the image is restricted to 700 x 433 px dimensions.

Could you try again? I think it's solved.

Thanks

Yes, I did try this again.

Behavior:

Click link above - opens black screen ENTRAR

Click ENTRAR and first panorama IS full screen and almost no distortion probably zoomed in too much - image was some pixelated.

Click Escape key and image reduces to smaller dimensioned image in new window.

I noticed that the URL is for Brazil ? Where in Brazil ? City? What is Resturant Name ? Appears to have unique sea ship artifacts. Must be a sea food resturant.

Visiting http://www.usvp.com.br/marius/index_n.html I enjoyed listing to part music "Yanni". Nice work.

Did you enter this panorama in the World Wide Panorama Event March 2007 "Atmosphere" ?

Hi Dave,

The City is Rio de Janeiro. The Resturant name is Marius Degustare. The decor comprises original pieces from old vessels.
Marius Degustare has two areas: seafood and meat. The second one is world wide recognized (is in "1000 places you must see before you die" - a The New York Times publication - a kind of touristic guide).

About WWP, I didn't because the subject.

hi Dave

very nice tour :)

i'm very impressed because all panoramas i've seen running with pano2qtvr were creating some wavy effect when mouse realease up. Which settings did you use with pano2qtvr for exporting?

thanks!

Hi Jaab,

Cube faces = 1600
Quality 60%
Quality for Motion Max
Qualiti for Static Lossless
Interpolator spline 36 (default)

In Flash TAB
Frame 50/s
Display Qality = 8
UNCHECK automatic decrease when move box (that's the point) <--
check dynamic stage redering quality
Scale "whith stage (the same as "showAll" in Flash AS)

regards and thanks.

Hi, ricardo!

Your tour is just excellent, especially from programming point of view. How did you managed to make a fullscreen with pano2qtvr flash?
And how can be possible google map inside flash? Can you make a tip?

Regards,
Vlad.

All you need to do is to create what you want as movies using Flash 8 and call the movies in separated layers over the pano.
I used the sample provided in the pano2qtvr site (http://www.pano2qtvr.com/sample/flashtour/) as the base for make my own interface.

Warm regards,

Warm regards,
Ricardo, can you give some info on your source images? Did you use cubic as your method for conversion? I'm having a lot of trouble getting the Flash Pack to work and I suspect it might be as a result of my source images and/or settings. Here's the post:

I'm working in Flash 8 as well, and am trying to see how people created their .swf files for inclusion into another Flash project.
