Good & thank you for answering my question,
In foction complement you have the option to make a
"thumb" in various model tunnel sphere ... it does not exceed
the quality of 72 dpi printing and the format 1200x1200. My
question is, do I just have a definition of 300 dpi and
to obtain a larger format. Thank you for your reply. for you

Have you thought about using Photoshop Polarize filter ?

Besure to turn image UPside down first before converting rectangle image to polarize. [looks like tunnel]

Thank you for advice ... I would have loved to go through the soft Pano2qtvr
which seemed more appropriate. If I understand correctly, the software is
Crippled (..)?.

No pano2vr is not crippled.

I used a 4000 x 2000 16bit 300 pixel per inch panorama and made a thumbnail 1200 x 1200 8bit 72 pixel per inch. I think the software is designed this way.

DPIs are just an info field so only the resolution matters. Just enter the size in pixels you like to produce. Pano2QTVR needs to keep the whole image + output image in memory so the size is limited by your main memory. It also doesn't support 16bit. If you need those features maybe you should take a look at Pano2VR.
