Just uploaded a tour yesterday. All the images look good in Lightroom and in Pano2vr, but appear more pixelated and a lot darker in Street View. Is this normal, and should I be editing to a lighter image before upload?

Hi Scotdiver,
The default is Pano2VR uploads at a Max or 12,000 x 6,000. JPG which is the recommendation from Google.
If your images are that bad then I would say look at them from your account and also the Phone App.
Do you have a link?

Dear GG and Martin .. thank You for your relentless education !!
SO .. I want to try uploading to SV using Pano2VR :
12 000 px limit is bothering me a little - my original Panos are 18 k width
-previous methods for uploading ( for business StreetView ) gave me 13 000 width .
Now it looks like Pano2 VR is even smaller...

Interesting as I can easily upload 16 K width using SV app

- see attached screenshot. - one is a one of a kind panorama uploaded using my iphone 16384 px - the other
12K + is part of a Business tour... ( made a couple of months ago )

Hi Jann,
Not seeing any attached images.
The default for Pano2VR for uploading to Street View is 12K, but this is adjustable in the settings.
Mac: Pano2VR => Preferences => Image tab
Windows: File => Settings => Image tab

We use 12K as this is what is recommended by Google but you can set this to whatever you want.
Also, look at the interpolation filter as this can make a difference.
