I am just coping this from a post from Facebook:
From the SVTP forum 19 Dec. Note that this also affects uploads from 3rd party tools. ...
3rd update on issue: publication and connection of 360 photos on Google Maps
Hello everyone,
A brief update: we encountered an unexpected obstacle on the manual moderation process.
As of today, Dec 19, the manual check is operating at 100%.
We also wanted to give you some clarity on when we will be releasing improvements to the auto-moderation system. This is targeted for the second week of January. After the improvements are tested, we will then re-process every image that has been rejected: we expect that most of these (unless they contain inappropriate content) will be published.
Again, to recap- between now and the second week of January you can:
Choose to re-publish 360 photos, which will go into a queue for manual moderation
Wait until the second week of January, when all 360 photos will be re-processed. Re-processing all of the images will take an estimated 4 days.
Please keep us updated with your questions and comments and we will keep you closely posted on more exact timing in the beginning of January.

They say:
Choose to re-publish 360 photos
and I wonder what's meant by this?
Where to choose that?
In what tool or what programm or user interface?

Hi
Just republish from Pano2VR.
If the images are in your account you will just send up the metadata again.

I think knowing the problems in deleting photos can also cause, for example, if you delete, you have to wait a few hours and then check with the Street View App to make sure they have not come back, I may be inclined just to upload the metadata.
But if you want to delete make sure your panoramas are indeed deleted first.

Hopki

Latest update,
I have read that Googles time frame to have the ongoing issue with panoramas being rejected has moved from the end of December to no mid-January.
If you have projects to upload I would be inclined not to until this is resolved.

Hello
I noticed this issue at end of last year and decided to wait.
Today I tried to upload few panoramas by using "Upload current panorama" button, and it partial success
Some were uploaded and some upload attempts reported error like this:

Code: Select all

{
  "error": {
    "code": 404,
    "message": "Photo with id: CAoSLEFGMVFpcE5NX21aZFIxaVZSUlJlQnExSHpnY2tSM01hV25yLUpoWlJHSTRl does not exist.",
    "status": "NOT_FOUND"
  }
}
Request:
{
    "connections": [
        {
            "target": {
                "id": "CAoSLEFGMVFpcE42bnBuWldsaS15ak9Hd1R6cE93a3pJc2V3UmtUSlBMZjFUT1p4"
            }
        }
    ],
    "places": [
        {
            "placeId": "ChIJsYmY8RndXEcR4uUSdDO44Sg"
        }
    ],
    "pose": {
        "heading": 270.29,
        "latLngPair": {
            "latitude": 45.60388359,
            "longitude": 18.74328464
        }
    }
}

I also noticed another issue:

When I click Upload project to street view" button, it uploads ALL panoramas with GPS data, no matter if panorama is tied to existing location.
Previous (and desired) behavior was that Pano2VR program was uploading only connected panoramas, when we selected relevant place with green + button. Is this a bug or new feature?

This creates a mess in Google Photo manager because it adds a lot "unknown name" images and removing it from within program sometimes produces error, and doesn't remove em from street view.

In most of my projects I'm uploading only few panoramas from project to google, so Id like to have option that program only uploads panoramas with assigned place.

I'm using latest 6.1.2 64bit p2VR pro version on Win 8.1 pro

Thanks,
Regards

It is one of those strange miracles that a major company like Google seems to invest close to no money into a product like STV.
Over all the last years we run into so many absurd problems with the Google "software" implementations and the only response we get from Google is: we are working on the issues (after month) or "this is artificial intelligence" (after asking why all panos now point to 0° north ignoring the value the photographer set - there is a video of the last SVT summit showing this AI argument twice for clearly visible bugs).

Right now I can not offer this service to my customers - just uploaded a tour with 40 panos - 1/3 is neither connected to the other panos or to the place I submitted.

Old tours of 2017 now are not connected to the place anymore and show a "rejected by Google" hint.

Google should cancel the SVT service or invest into a serious development team.

Latest update from Google.
Unfortunately, the improvements in the auto-moderation system have not given the expected results and we are still seeing delays and errors in publishing 360 photos. We are working hard to resolve this issue with all the relevant teams but at this time we cannot guarantee timelines.

We will continue to post updates on this channel.
Once again we thank you for your continued patience.

You need to be a Google trusted photographer to see this forum, but Hopki already posted the content.
