I think the time has come that you need to have presets of workspace. This is the usual concept for many image-video-and-etc editors.
For the first time, at least for two workflow - Default and StreetView. Where it is very necessary to have two large windows of the workspace - Viewport and Map. The basis of the concept can be taken by a native former editor of Google Maps View.

btw. Ready presets of workspace (like StreetView) for effective marketing would be a good addition for beginners. imho
