Garden Gnome Software

I have a question about use of pkg system for wp. It includes everything in a zip file and so I'm concerned about loading time for large virtual tours or very big panoramas in size as it's going to unzip whole folder each time sometimes visit it ! Does it have consequences on loading time for visitors and on system charge for hosting server ?
