Hi all,

I am increasingly getting clients asking for a CMS (content management system) for their tours so they can add and edit information points to their tours. Up until recently, it was not really an issue but now it is an ever increasing request, as I believe some providers do this via Wordpress.

Anyone have any experience of CMSs for tours? I have lost a few jobs recently where they have opted for a provider that gives a CMS option, but I can't find any decent tools for this.

Thanks.

I've found the above which looks like a CMS plugin for KR Pano.In theory, could something like this be created for use with Pano2vr?

Hi,
Moved this post to the correct forum.
We have had plugins for WordPress and Joomla for a very long time.

Thanks for the reply. I'm actually after a CMS for the tour, so that things such as information point text can be edited by the client. From what I can see that package viewer is just for embedding a tour on a site, is that correct? Can you customise a tour so that with the plugins you've linked to, the client could, in theory, edit certain copy in information points themselves?

Hi,
Out of the box, you can not do this with Pano2VR, but with javascript, you can do this if you know how to code.
There is a Facebook user offering this service, best ask this question there.
The plugin is to display the panorama/tour on a CMS website.

Thats interesting, thanks Hopki. I don't suppose you have his/her details, or a link to somewhere on Facebook where I can contact him/her? I am not on Facebook myself.
