Hi,
I'm pretty new to pano2vr. I have a client after a tour. I'd like to employ someone to create the tour from 360 panoramic images that I supply. The reason I'd like to outsource this section of the work is that I believe I will be too slow at creating an impressive finished product.

If you are good at creating these tours and can show me a couple of examples, and are interested in doing this job, please contact me here or at josh@truevrphotography.com.au with some examples and what rate you would charge.

The VR Tour will consist of 20-30 panoramic images. I'm not sure if I will be taking them on a Gopro union or with a DSLR camera then stitching them together myself yet, but images will not need stitching or image enhancement. There may be 5-10 URL links, popup videos/images or text boxes.
Thanks,
Josh

Hi Josh,

Looks like we are in the part of the world so communicating would be a breeze. Here are a couple of examples that you may find interesting.

The first is the Gateway Building, Circular Quay

I was approached by 'madebyfairfax' agency to provide both photographic, design and development services to create a virtual tour of the Dexus Gateway Building and related buildings in the Circular Quay area of Sydney.

This tour would be integrated into an new website being built by the agency and had some specific requirements such as the ability to link directly to a node of the tour, a "Tour Location" function that would take you to a specific group of nodes and provide a flag to identify that the group had been viewed and hotspots using custom fonts.

In this project I provided site appraisal, photography and retouching services as well as working closely with the agency to develop an interface and user experience within a bespoke virtual tour. The client developed a website that the virtual tour formed an integral part of and I worked closely with them on the final development of the site.

You can view the tour on their website at: http://www.gatewaytower.com.au/

The tour itself can also be viewed as a standalone at: http://tonyredhead.photography/360/SOCI ... y_VT-Test/

The second are a series of single node tours for a French Cruising company called Ponant.

The concept was to develop a 'template' that allowed a large number of standalone tours to be built without having to create each one from scratch. Each tour has a number of hotspots including a video hotspot and gallery that are populated by html files loaded via iframes. Information and text are available in 3 languages, English, French and German.

The sites have been optimised for desktop and mobile devices with screen size detection and mobile menus.

Two examples are;

Old Walled City, Dubrovnik - Croatia - http://panos.expedition.photography/PON ... vnik-Walls

Let me know what you think and give me a call if you want to talk further regarding the scope/cost of your project

regards,

Tony
