Add external image to highlight hotspots?

Hello,

I find the hotspot are fairly hard to spot if you do not know where they are. I was wondering how easy it was to include an external image into the panorama (without changing the pano image directly) to highlight such hotspots?

I tried searching for an answer but could not find any. I would appreciate it if someone could help.

For now the only option is to add a new layer e.g. in Photoshop where you can paint those hotspots at the same areas but I also plan a solution for Pano2VR.
