Hi. Creating a droplet to output a cubic strip is not working for me or anyone else who attempts it.

The output of the file always writes to the Pano2QTVR program directory instead of the originating equirectalinear file directory.

Regardless of if I am overlooking something simple or if it is an actual bug in the program... I would at least appreciate ONE reply from the program author who I now write on a WEEKLY BASIS with this question.

I am not looking for a freebie or a handout. I'VE OFFERED TO PAY YOU FOR THE ANSWER.

Please don't answer with a "guess" of what the command line is... actually ATTEMPT the operation with an actual droplet and drag in a JPEG file and then get it to output a CUBIC STRIP in the SAME directory the jpeg was from.

This is the original thread:

ANYONE WHO CAN GIVE ME A USEABLE NON-CONVOLUTED RESPONSE... I WOULD APPRECIATE IT... TELL ME A REASONABLE PRICE AND I WILL PAYPAL YOU FOR THE TIME YOU TOOK TO ANSWER.

Ok, sorry about your bad experience, but my problem was that this bug didn't showed up on my developers machine, so now I installed a clean machine, installed the download package and there it was.... I tracked it down and the new version 1.6.4 fixes this bug. You can download it at http://www.pano2qtvr.com/download

With this version the line

pano2qtvr.exe -c "c:\config.pqt" -l --strip $f_strip.tif

works as expected.
Btw: You can generate the droplet from the menu with File - Save as Template/Droplet - Create Droplet - Output format: Strip

THANK YOU.

The bug is now gone! Works as normal.

Question that comes as a result of this.... is there plans in the near future to implement a feature to create a thumbnail of the strip file?

This would instantly be incredibly useful as it would create the grayscale thumbnail of the strip that is used as a pre-loader preview in both FlashPlayer and PurePlayer.

Regards on a great fix!

You are actually wasting my time with that message? Do you even know what
you are talking about? Typing my original message was the only way I
finally got a reply from the program author regarding a bug in his software.

Perhaps it is okay for you to be a lazy flake who spends all day with your
thumb up your ass, but the rest of us run businesses and are on deadlines.

We need answers and we are willing to pay for those answers with cash.

Take a look at that computer and camera you are using to make your lame
panoramas... the only way all that equipment and technology was created was
by people working on deadlines and not concerned with seeming "impolite".

You should be on your knees kissing my feet for proactive people like me...
and even the program author.

Now go away and dream about being loved by someone.
emailing me to show your unhappiness? screw off.
