Is there a way to output the thumbnails at higher resolutions? I'm using 8000 x 4000 equirectangular images, and get a maximum 2000 x 2000 @ 72dpi world thumbnail. I would like to print these images. Anyway to get 300 dpi outpt?

Unfortunately the thumbnail function has a built in and fixed anti aliasing and the image is internally rendered 4x (16x filesize!) as big as needed to avoid jaggies. In the current version you can not turn this feature off.
So I have to direct you for the moment to other software like Flexify or the free PanoTools to create this transformation. Pano2QTVR V 2.0 will have a better remapping engine but there is for me a long way to go until this release.

Thank you for the info. I was wondering what the longitude and latitude settings are for your world (little planet) thumbnail? You mentioned version 2.0, any chance by end of year?
