File Size Limits?
Posted: Fri Feb 23, 2007 12:25 am
Trying to convert a 16 bit tiff, 24,214 wide equirectangular to a MOV file, using tile size of 1501, compression of 73. The input file is about 1.6 gigabytes in size.
PANO2QTVR appears to have stopped, at least it's not using any CPU cycles and has been left to run for over 1/2 hour, has not even started to build the "....." (tile line progress bars?)
I know this is an excessive file size, just trying a test.
Anyone know of size limits?
I'm going to try and convert it to cubic, see where that goes. Same result.
Downloaded 1.5.2, same result. Here's the Console info:

Userdata - Title : Lens Test
Output File : C:\xxx\xxxxx\xxxxxx\Tiff_output_7\Lenstestcanon16-35.mov

FoV (Min/Max/Def) : 10.0/ 120.0/ 70.0
Previewtrack : 1:8 grayscale
Multitiles : 3 x 3
Loading 'canon16-35\1.tif'
Imagesize 24214 x 12107
Tilesize : 1501
UPDATE:
I downsized the file to 20,000 pixels wide and it works as expected, so I'm assuming there is a limit somewhere above 20,000 pixels.

Robert
