The cylidrical jpg image I'm starting with has nice brightness and contrast (IMHO) but the resulting MOV file is noticeably darker. What is the solution?

I guess the problem is an embedded color space. Pano2(QT)VR always needs images without (=sRGB the default profile of a web browser) a color space. Please convert the images to sRGB space and everything should work fine.

Thank you for responding. I'll try your suggestion and report back. In the meantime, I downloaded your newer Pano2VR and it renders them quickly and perfectly.
