Hi,

I've just created a few new object images for my website. - http://www.sphereworks.co.uk/p_object.php

The problem I have is with the larger Laptop object image in QuickTime. It has come out in an off white colour and I can't work out why. I have changed the background colour of the page so that it looks right but would much rather it was white like the flash version. The smaller QuickTime laptop object is white, this has baffled me - can anyone help?

Best Wishes,

Pete

Had another look this moring and I still can't work it out. I've changed the page of the QuickTime image back to white now as it works fine on the other computers I've tried it on.

I've attached a screen shot to this post if you want to see it, or you can view the files here -

QuickTime - http://www.sphereworks.co.uk/images/laptop_odd_qt.jpg - the whole image has a grey tint to it.
Flash - http://www.sphereworks.co.uk/images/lap ... _flash.jpg

Thanks,

I looked at both small and large Flash and QTVR with IE7 and your background is WHITE.

I looked at your object_laptop_800_flash.htm and found this background code. Maybe only 1 background-color: #FFFFFF (white) is needed. CCCCCC is gray. Your browser is making the decision as which background color to use.

background : #CCCCCC;
background-color: #FFFFFF;

Hmm.... maybe there is a color profile embedded in the JPEG images? Just a wild guess....
