I am trying to create a simple slideshow of jpgs mixed with a couple of VRs on my new homepage. The intention is to show a jpg for 4 seconds, then a VR for 10 seconds that auto rotates (no controls), then a jpg for 4 seconds, etc.

I have installed FlashXML's Banner Rotator FX and created the slideshow. The Banner Rotator FX supports swfs, and I have tried and got it working with some simple swfs I downloaded from the web, but I can't get it to work with Pano2VR generated swfs. So the issue is not with Banner Rotator FX or my syntax/use of it, but something to do with the way Pano2VR has created the swf or the way the swf is loaded in respect of the host swf.

The url of the page with the banner rotator is:

http://www.circleinlight.co.uk/index-new.html

The second 'image' in the show is the VR swf. The loading circle appears briefly, so it looks like the swf loads correctly, but is simply not showing. The slideshow then moves to the next image (Concerts).

The direct url of the VR swf is:

http://www.circleinlight.co.uk/homeshow ... eption.swf

I am unsure as to whether I need to use specific settings when creating the VR swf, or whether it is the embedding/loading syntax of the host swf (e.g. should I load the VR swf explicitly at this stage)?

Any help to resolve this appreciated.

It is likely because it only supports older Flash 8 Action Script 2
Pano2VR outputs to Flash 9/10 for Action Script 3

Older versions of Pano2VR 2.x can output to Flash 8

Spot on Smooth! Have downloaded Pano2VR 2 and created a Flash 8 VR and hey presto, it now shows. A few issues still to iron out, as the images after VR don't show... but a massive step forward.

Here's the latest state: http://www.circleinlight.co.uk/index-flash.html
