Here are some more examples of what can be done with Pano2VR panoramas in combination with FlashCS4/ActionScript3:

http://360vr.com/2010/preloader2/HTM/re ... 00x550.htm
Use the scroll bar on the right hand side to fade from one panorama into the other (looking in any direction).

and

Move one of the panos using your mouse or keyboard, and the other will move in sync with it.

A possible use for these would be to compare two panoramas made from the same spot, but at different points in time.
For instance how things looked before a renovation project started, and how it became after it was finished.
Or maybe to show a day and night view of a city.

Thanks to Jook Leung of http://360vr.com/ for letting me use his images.

Cheers!

Ok..after some time, here is my solution:

http://www.geopalstudio.com/test/PanoramasSplit.html
http://www.geopalstudio.com/test/PanoramasSlider.html

the first is a regular split screen for mixing 2 panoramas post processed differently/ from different time, and the other one is a cross fader slider mixer. When it loads it has "demo" on on the panos, then you can control which one is loaded.
Everything is controlled via xml- the number of panos to load and which mode it runs.

Hope you like it, Merry Christmas everyone!
Best, G

Hi

Any way possible someone could share a how to do this ?
Putting 2 files in one html via iframe is not so much a big deal, more how to control bot images with one command ?
So I guess iframe is not an option but what/how then...

Hello friends!
I have long been trying to understand how to do this effect (Day\night). But still can not find an answer. I see that you are able to do it. Please share your experience!

Hi,
This has been built outside of Pano2VR, the SWF files from Pano2VR have been taken into Flash and a custom controller has been built.
The way to do SIMILAR in Pano2VR is use Pano2VR Pro then under the Flash output have buttons with open next panorama: xxxx.swf, target: $cur. This then opens each panorama with the same pan tilt and FoV.
Under the visuals tab set the transition to fade (default) and extend the transition time if need be.

This will then produce a large SWF the same as you see in your link with all the images already downloaded giving a very smooth transition.
However you may also get away without embedding if the transition is slow enough, to do this use a single level under the multi resolution tab.
Regards,
Hopki
