People asked me to add a music on/off button to the skin.
Here is the update: http://3dpano.pindora.com/public/controller11.ggsk
Don’t forget - in skin editor (at the music on/off buttons) choose your target mp3 file instead of the default _background option.

Simply.
Go to Skin Editor >Elements>Add sound... and select a mp3 track.
Double click on the loudspeaker icon, and in actions > Mouse click>Play sound change the target to your mp3 file's ID.
Do the same with the second loudspeaker icon.
If this won't work, specify your problems.

Thanks for your answer, but I wonder why it doesn't work simply with background sound defined in main panel.

Wow, now this guy is just WAY to nice;p Thanks for your contribution and sharing Jare!

Does the volume function work with background looped music, or only when assigning the song fuction to the button?

This is probably the best skin i have seen. It is almost invisible, not destructing the viewer from the VR at last the buttons are small and more than well designed and it has a unity that make a solid style. BRAVO Jare, excellent work.

Jare

Thanks for sharing this skin - especially of course the sound / volume slider - excellent work!

Here's my first attempt to incorporate into a demo: http://www.360imagery.co.uk/VT/lounge/test.html

The .swf file is large at 7.5mb, but I can get round that by editing the sound file down. 2 questions:

1. You'll note that in my example the music doesn't start on load up - you have to click the music off, then on again, for it to start - is there a way around this?

2. How can the sound be programmed to loop continuously?

thanks again,
Stu
