Hi Everyone, I'm having a couple issues that I'd like some help with.

The first should be pretty easy. I'm just screwing up somewhere. How do you get the point hotspot text (title) to show when you hover? I have no issues doing this with area hotpots or even normal hotspots but when I drop an image in as a proxy, the title disappears.

The second is a bit more difficult. When exporting to html5 with skins, the files don't work well on mobile devices. Images get lost or don't appear, loading is super slow even with small files, skins don't seem to work smoothly. (example: http://www.brownewellphotography.com/36 ... raphy.html) The client wants everything to work better more like webrotate's platform (http://lgad.thorn.net/01/lgad_preview/H ... 3570W.html) but they also want multi-row views which webrotate can't do. Is there some way to make the mobile version work better with skins that I am missing? I've tried it on Android and iPhones and have the same problems across the both platforms

Thanks!

No skin provided in the download. Make sure you are using the correct placeholder. http://ggnome.com/wiki/List_of_Placeholders
$hs for name, $ht for target

The image size are fairly large. Multiresolution will help keep the detail but only when you want to zoom in.
Everything loaded fast for me but you could probably reduce the file size a bit by decreasing the compression quality from 90%.
Android Chrome worked fine, but Android Browser stopped after rotating 3/4 around.

Thanks Jim, I fixed that download link. I just sort of grabbed everything in the one folder.

I also checked a couple other users sites and noticed that the mobile issue of images not appearing is happening to them as well. The people want to be able to use a QR code to link to the page so I need this to work across all platforms and browsers.

HI Pat,
Your Image Window Size is 911 x 504, with zoom enabled and set for 2X Object2VR will double the size of the images making them 1822 x 1008 so they still look good when zoomed.
These will be a bit large so as Jim suggests use multi resolution. In this case letting Object2VR automatically adding the levels will give you 1822 and 911 which is what you will need.
The lighten the load even further back under the settings tab you can adjust image quality from 90 to say 80 - 85 but if using multi resolution fixes your problem I would not adjust this.

For the missing tool tip you need to add a text box to your hotspot template in the skin.
Add the text box as a child of the hotspot template the sam was your image. Enter the text $hs.
This is a place holder to pick up the title text in the hotspot editor.
Then deselect visible.
In the hotspot template add the actions mouse enter show the text box and mouse leave hide the text box.
Regards,
Hopki
