In the online tutorial from version 2, it shows an area hot spot proxy where the cursor moves over the cars windshield and you can click on it and it pops up a new picture.

I was wanting to do the same with Version 3, but can't find anywhere in the menus for this to be done.

Is there a way to do a hot spot proxy, where you can pop up another picture in Version 3?

Hi,
Hotspot Proxy ID's work in the same way in 3.x as they do in version 2.x except now you can have point and poly hotspots rather than just area.
When you add a hotspot give the ID a more meaningful name such as "popup".

Now in the skin add a rectangle, type in "popup" in the Hotspot Proxy ID and give it the action mouse click toggle visibility.
Deselect visible in the rectangles properties and output the project.

The link is formed between the hotspot and the rectangle by the ID.

Of course this can be an image rather then a rectangle, and don't forget to anchor the rectangle in the centre so it says in the middle of the window.

Hopki
