Hi!

I'm createing an .swf animation using the 2.0 version of ObjectVR.

I've added a button and created a new action "Mouse Pressed-->Go To Url-->http://www.sitename.com-->_blank"
But when I click on the button in the browser nothing happens... if I eliminate "http://" it opens the link but with the incorrect path "file:///D/foldername/www.sitename.com"

What's wrong?

Thanks a lot.

Hi
Please have a look at the two links:
http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Fla ... y_Settings

http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Int ... Web_Server

The reason for the links is because this sounds like the local flash security.
Have you uploaded to a server and tested?

Opening your project through Object2VR and its built in web server should also work.

thank you very much for your fast and useful answer.

Now it works, using the .swf like output what I have to do is to go under Flash Global Settings and add the folder of the .swf file (even if the interface of Flash Global Settings is different then your videos I think I've found the correct tab 'cause now it works).

The project isn't finalized for the web 'cause it too much heavy, but only for offline viewer; I think it's quite boring to say my client to add the directory to the flash global settings trust zone to make it to work.. anyway it works.

Thanks a lot!
