It was great news to here and see the object2vr option. It only took a few minutes end our player and move in this direction. I won't completely stop using ours, but I won't use it as much at this point.

I thought I would post a few samples and see what everyone else had.

Full Size bedding

A Medium Sized Motor Cycle

A mens wrist watch

Post your samples. Also, you can see the slight differences between our player and the object2vr player on the samples page at our site. It looks like the only major differences are our loader that shows progress in the logo and the ability to have sound in the vr.(we use it from time to time for descriptions of products)

A few items I find useful..

getting the object directly centered over the center point of rotation.... size the view window so the object fits the frame during the full rotation

replacing the background in each of the single images. Clutter filled background is a distraction from the object

proper size dimensions of the single images so not to create 1 very large output file

On all 3 of your objects... you have done a great job.

Observation: Increasing the number of images in the series produces a smoother rotation. But it also adds to the overall file size in Megabytes.

A question for you all.

Do you find you need to edit the background of each image taken, or go with the result
as produced straight from the camera? (just resize as required). Maybe it depends on the finished result?
thank you

I finally got around to making a full multi-row

Here is the link
10 row Full 360 Product

After loading this into the object2vr I have a list of wants for the light table, but then again, full shots are not requested every day.

Good job! Could be great if you clean up some of the frames that still have shadows and marks.
I appreciate it is a lot of cleaning.

We left the shadow on all that are top side, Then removed the shadow on those that are below the horizon so that the product is grounded. It was by design for the customer.

Sorry mate, they are not what I'm talking about solely you have areas that have been missed. I also pointed these out on some of your other work so I guess you are not seeing them on your monitor? Are you using a LCD calibrated screen?

See attached image - there are at least a dozen just like it some worse.

If the item is going to be rotated to the underside then really the shadow should also go. But that of course is up to you and your "client".

smooth I managed to find a way to "find the spot" on the mac the best way I found was to invert the screen. Make the blacks white and the whites black. Thanks

Cool, glad you can at least see them so they can be taken care of. I don't know the limitations of Macs.
