Thanks both of you for your replys. I can get hold of some (free) perspex this weekend
so may give it a try. The glass sounds good but it means a trip to the shop and pating with cash!
Maybe later. I'd like to give it a try to see how the editing goes in the graphics software.
Should be fun.
Thanks, John.

Another sample for your critique....be gentle..with my very first home built skin,

http://www.roofdragon.com/dragon1.htm
File a little large so may try to optimise slightly, not sure yet.
Also will try to leave the reflection or shadow in later work that I will be doing once i get hold of decent lighting..
But am quite pleased so far, and client well happy!

Cheers, John G.

(it crashed a few times in the skin editor so hoping the update coming soon :-))

Hello John,

Looks good, buttons/skin nice :D

I think it would be a good idea to add the size/dimensions to the "Info" because we have no idea of scale.

Hi, John!
Well done. Nice the thumbnail effect to show close ups.
One issue. Having pop-up 1 open and clicking thumbnail 2 pop-up 2 will open hidden by pop-up 1.
As a suggestion. Add the close action of the other pop-up when clicking a thumbnail.
For example: action close pop-up 1 when clicking thumbnail 2 and viceversa.
I don´t know if it can be done. I think yes.

Thanks for the kind words both of you. Yes, Smooth, the next one has size in info box (by the way how do i make box darker?)
and have emailed client for size of the one in my link. Hey Martin, good idea as i noticed that issue
as well so will look into it. ts my first skin so was just making it up as i went along really.
Lovely piece of software though. Lighting is bit of an issue especially on one I am working
on at the moment but once client pays up may treat myself to a light and softbox etc.
Cheers both of you, you have made my day.

Open the Skin Editor and find the "User Data" edit this backgound color and change the Alpha from 128 to whatever you require up to (no opacity) pure black 256 etc.

I use Pano2vr for my main business but some really lousy weather yesterday kept me from working. So I enlisted my 4 year old to help me build a crude turntable out of what we had laying around the house (two pieces of wood bolted together in the middle with 8 of his steel marbles around the circumference to stabilize weight and help ease turning)

Anyway, here was my first attempt: (Currently still using Object2Vr in demo mode so if mods have problems with me posting it here I'll take it down)

NOW !!! That is great !!!! Cute too !!!

Music fits the head nod, eye blink, general body motions.

I now realize how easy a joint venture can turn out really great.

Certainly impressed me ! Steel marbles work ! Done Good Guys !!!

To Photosperix

You turned the box upside down to make the bottom photos. Right?
No transparent table setup or the like.
I'm just asking because I don't know how else to setup for bottom stitching images without touching the object and still keeping it in place.

cheers

Here are a couple of ping-pong object movies of an architectural model
http://www.mediavr.com/objects/bridgemac.htm
http://www.mediavr.com/objects/ch2.htm
-- this is done with a 9 camera Canon TX1 array synced with Stereodata Maker (I mostly use this for
stereoscopic stuff but it is good for this kind of object movie or time slice effect too)
