Hi All
Was thinking the other day, would be great to have
a automated hotspot tracking system, where you could
click once on a image point and program would work out the rest.
Thanks
Greg

Hi Greg
This is already in as a feature request, we are some way from Object2VR 4 but it is on the radar.

Hopki

I have two requests for future versions:
- A script tag to load the viewer from another website, for example:
<div class="Sirv" data-src="
https://sirv.sirv.com/website/demos/Bobble Bag/bag.spin" style="height:600px; width:600px"></div>
Of course you would need a javascript snippet in the head.
- A preview image that is shown before the object2vr player is shown, so that it will load after you have clicked the initial image.
Thanks

Yes still find responsive items and layouts a bit head scratching, so perhaps a default option switch, then for fine tuning dip back into old way.
Thanks

Hello, isn’t any development on object2vr going on?
It’s a really powerful software but the skin editor is just too old and lack a lot of features of the new pano2vr skin editor, I downloaded the demo and even tried to create a skin with my pano2vr and use the skin output file with an object2vr project but of course didn’t work.
If there were a way to create skins like the pano2vr ones I would buy object2vr instantly.

Hi drjanson,
Responsive skins will happen with Object2VR version 4 which will be next year, not sure when at the moment.
But basically it will be the new skin from Pano2VR 5.
Regards,
Hopki
It's been quite a while...
Any news on responsive skins or object2vr 4?
cheers,
jan

I would like to see a simple implementation of images paths that are hosted on a cloud like Amazon S3. Example: in Export there could be a URL field ( user enter image path to a cloud folder) and a checkbox (to implement on import or not). I have to manually overwrite image paths every time i make a modification to a tour, this would save alot of time.

Hi
You can do this already.
Output hotspots in one image. You will then end up with a xxx_hs.png image with the colours used for the Hotspots. They are 8bit Mac pallet as used by QTVR.
1st HS = ffffcc
2nd HS = ffff99
3rd HS = ffff66
...and so on.
Then name them to match the required input image:
input image name = xx1.jpg = xx1_hs.png
input image name = xx2.jpg = xx2_hs.png
So with this in mind it is possible to do this now.
Just put the images in the same folder and turn on hotspots.
If you have 4 different hotspots the you will need to click the add hotspot button 3 times more.
When using Photoshop to make the hs_png images just make sure you use Save for Web Device etc. Choose PNG-24 and unselect Transparency.

Hi Hopki,
I've just recognized that hotspots in my project are more greenish:
1st HS = #011001
2nd HS =#022002
3rd HS = #033003
Is there any rule how object2vr is picking those colors or is it randomly?
thx,
Jan
