Good morning,
I have windows 8 PRO and 10 both 64 bit versions.
I have different models of 5x Canon and 5x Nikon cameras.
(EOD 450D, EOS 550D, EOS 5D MARK II, EOS 5D MARK II, EOS 5D MARK III, P900, D90, D500, D810, and several other models)

1) For Canon Cameras, the camera model is shown in 2 versions:
Example:
Windows 8 pro - CANON EOS 550D (CANON)
Windows 10 - CANON EOS 550D (PTP) and CANON EOS 550D (CANON)

Generally only select the version of CANON EOS 550D (CANON) program works properly in any version of software OBJECT 2VR Studio.
The PTP version does not work in any version, always hangs when the first photo is downloaded. I tested it on all available software versions and on 5 CANON models.

2) For Nikon Camera models, the camera model is in one version:
Example:
Windows 8 pro - D90 (PTP)
Windows 10 - D90 (PTP)

The camera works only with OBJECT 2VR Studio 3.1.0 software.
Any newer version, 3.1.1 - 3.1.3, always hangs when the first image is downloaded. I tested it on 5 models of NIKON cameras.

Please help and advice on how to make Nikon work properly.
What has changed since 3.1.1 that the cameras do not work.

Has anyone really encountered such a problem on Nikon devices for the last few months when there is a new version of software available?
Maybe it's a matter of some configuration I do not know?

Hi Groniu7,
In Preferences/Settings deselect Show debug messages in log window.
This should remove all the PTP camera types as this are for debug.
Do you now see a non Nikon camera?
Regards,
Hopki

Changing this parameter does not change the firmware version 3.1.1 to 3.1.3.
When you change this debug parameter when you connect a Canon camera, everything is ok. The connection is still working as (Canon) and not (PTP). After connecting the Nikon camera, it stops working in the software versions listed above.
The picture below shows where the program stops working.
