How many photos per oject?

Post by Sean » Tue Nov 08, 2016 5:09 pm

I am looking to make my 1st 360 object with Object 2VR (just demo version at the moment)

Is there a table for how many photos to take and at which degrees and with which lens like there is with 360 panoramas?

http://wiki.panotools.org/Entrance_Pupi ... _360.C2.B0

Or is there a recommend practise on how many shots to take per object?

Thanks for the help

Hi Sean,
This depends on your object.
For a a not so detailed object 12 or 24, but most folk would use or 36pictures , so one picture every 10 degrees.
For detailed work I like to use 50 images, example.
This is start, stop animation so the more images the smoother the rotation, but then the slower it will turn and the larger file size.
Regards,

I find 60 is a good compromise:
