Hi

I know Object2vr has yet to have responsive output feature as in Pano2vr,
but would a web developer be able, once pulling Object2vr Html output
into a iframe, then make the iframe Resposive and its contents?

Thanks

Hi Greg,
You must use the fullscreen option under the HTML tab.
Then in the skin make sure you anchor buttons correctly.
A wed developer could use an iframe and get it to scale with the page.
Then the Object can scale with the frame.

A client has asked for the 360 objects Im shooting to display well on desktop as well as mobile.

Am I correct in what I've been reading on the forum, that Object2VR can't create a responsive (screen scaleable) output yet. However, if the output is displayed in an iFrame, that can be used to scale the output? I'm only creating HTML output files for them too.

I was looking at the old method of creating dual skins for the output as we used to in Pano2VR but I'm not actually using a skin for these objects, they just need to be plain with no controls.

Cheers,
Rob

Hi Rob,
Skins no but if you select fullscreen in the HTML tab the the HTML page will resize for the page its displayed in.
As you say use an iframe to embed the HTML page and the image will scale to fit.

Hi Hopki,
after creating a good looking offline version for the fair in Munich I try to produce a smaller online version.
http://www.dimension3plus.de/arcelormit ... est01.html
It's just a preview version, the final UI is fare more complex with connecting lines between the buttons.

I used fullscreen in html-settings but the buttons itself and the distance between the buttons don't scale with the window. Am I doing something wrong?
The anchor for all buttons is in the center.

It would be great for me and my client to produce a responsive version for different screens.

Thanks
Olaf

HI Olaf,
Are you just using single flat images?
If so you could be better off using Pano2VR Pro as you can then use it skin editor that can make responsive skins.
You would need Pro to get the fade between images/nodes and 5.1 beta as it supports flat images with borders.
Object2VR can not do this just yet but version 4 will have the same skin editor as Pano2VR 5

No, unfortunately you can move around the building. I'll wait for the next version and try to persuade my client that responsive isn't really necessary. :)
Thanks

If you like you can test my project now. It is ready and online here:

The fourth from the top: "ArcelorMittal Farbkonfigurator"

Any news about the responsive skins in Obj2VR?

Hi Olaf,
I don't have any more information regarding Object2VR 4, but I'm told this year!
With all thats going on with Pano2VR the skin editor should be manly bug free (he says) when it comes out with Object2VR 4.

Hopki

Any news at this topic?

My configurator is now online:
http://ds.arcelormittal.com/repository/ ... enu01.html

And my client keeps asking about responsiveness. :(
