I have a client who I did work for last year and delivered new items to them and they are having loading (slow) loading problems. Also I see that the loading bar does not appear. I do have the preload all images checked but it does not seem to load the items upon opening. Any ideas? They did increase the spin from 24 to 36 items so that will slow it down some but it's very slow to load and does not seem to complete the load.

Last years files - http://www.lgstudio.com/shop.html#LSFXC2476S

Latest with load problems - http://www.lg.com/us/images/360/ha/LMXS ... index.html

Also now that I'm looking at the spin, the loading is not appearing in the new one like to old one, any idea why.

Hi Russ,
Further to the support e-mail, just having a look at at your skin and spotted a few things Im not sure of.

There is a user data container with the action mouse click, set element scale to 0/0 $self but the container has no elements inside?
The Loading element has the action, loaded, set element position, $ui, dot.
But there is not an element called dot in the skin?

Just for a test, remove the skin and try it. You can Cache at startup the lowest level but it should work ok with or without this selected.
Let me know how you get on, the you get it working please post here so others can see the fix.

Regards,
Hopki

Thanks I did get it figured out. For some reason I must have grabbed a loading from another project which had those two items in it so they were stray items which I believe showed down loading in some way. I appears to load great and the loading bar does appear but have one question. When I view it in Firefox it loads everything but when viewed in Chrome I seem to be missing the nav button on the bottom as they appear for a second then shift down. Any idea why that happens?

The images are 1333 wide 2000 tall and the Multi res sizes are 1333, 666,333 in that order with Level tile size of 333. Is that about right?

I also see what the Chrome problem was.... There was a tool bar that was kicking it down once it loaded. I saw the nav buttons appear then they'd jump down but did not notice the tool bar opening at the same time which was the cause. I clicked it away and now I can see them fine. USER ERROR !!

Hi Russ,
Clicking your link I see the load bar and it loads much quicker.
So I guess all is ok now?

Yes thanks so much as usual. I guess the stray items really caused the slow down, which I couldn't imagine that that would have caused such a slow down but it seems to have cleared it up.
