Hello,

I have a question about this kind of turntable in log*tech website, it has a button to turn on the light to play inside the turntable while we can rotate the object as before, is it possible to create it with ggnome software? can anybody explain how does it really works?

This is the link to the website i was talking about : http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/produc ... mouse-g303

Hi MSantika,

Check out HMX Media Superblaze http://www.hmxmedia.com/superblaze/ There's not much info but it looks like they have a product that can create the type of imagery you are seeing in the Logitech site.

If I had to hazard a guess I'd say this is not possible to create in the current version of Object2VR as it's quite specialised work.

Hi,
Zoom, buttons for showing set positions, know as move to view and auto rotate are all possible.
Using view states you can select different colours.

To make it look good you would generate the images from something like 3D Max, but can also be done using photos.
The move to view can bee seen in this project, CUP.
Click the thumbnails.
Regards,
Hopki

Yes Hopki, as you say it's certainly possible to create the set positions and view states. I was thinking more about the presentation of the actual image itself where it can be rotated in a full 360˚ view with lighting, reflections and animations.

Hi Tony, thanks for the reply and yea i found that they use HMX Superblaze to create the html5 with OpenGL, i'm still wondering that maybe they could turn the 3D animated objects into codes and yea this is really a specialised work we even can open it in Android and iOS browser. I'm currently trying to inspect the element and found that they have a geometry file in .dat format and i think they have converted the 3D geometry file into codes. I'm going to try to open it with blender and see how it works. Here are the .xml link if you want to look further :

Thank you for the information Hopki, if the view states feature in object2vr can be filled with animation of the object i think it is possible to produce an interactive object with even a video playing in it surfaces. Is it possible to gnome software to create that feature in the future?

This looks like it was done with sketchfab or a similar WebGL based Player. What this does is throw your 3D Model into a "live render" Environment...similar to what a game engine would do while playing. But as I said, the origin of this is a 3D Model, not Pictures taken with a camera. But as Hopki said, you can achieve the same "color changing effect" using O2VR. Maybe not that continuous, but it can be done. http://www.jeromedia.eu/images/scan/bea ... _mixr.html

The main disadvantage of exporting a file with many viewstates (colours) for me is that loading time does get really long, cause you have tons of pictures. That´s an advantage of the WebGL stuff...
