Hi Hopki,
I am cloning a skin, the linking system has three layouts: 1) the thumbnais slide, 2) the hotspots in each panos, and 3) the previous and next button in 10 info box (the first info box has only next button, the last info box has only previous button).
I am using Pano2VR Pro, the first two i have done but i don't know how to do the last one because the size of each info box is not the same size for all?
how can i activate the next or previous panorama in the next or previous button in info box using Pano2VR?
you can see the tour at http://www.virtualmedia360.net/tours/maintire/
This site using krpano but i would like using Pano2VR to do the same.
Sincerely yours.

Hi,
This can be done quite easily with using the the user data.
But depending weather you are using Pano2VR or Pano2VR Pro will depend on the data you use.

Use the source and information text boxes.
I use Source for going back and Information for going forward.

In the first node I would have the second node in the information text field.
Example for Pano2VR, pano2.swf, if pano2.swf if the name of the second node.
Example for Pano2VR Pro, you would enter {node2}.

For node two the user data would have.

Pano2VR:
Source = pano1.swf
Information = pano3.swf

Pano2VR Pro:
Source = {node1}
Information = {node3}

In the skin editor the next pano button would have
Mouse Click => Open Next Panorama => URL: $uo => P/T/F: xxxx

Then in the previous pano button:
Mouse Click => Open Next Panorama => URL: $ui => P/T/F: xxxx

In the bug tracker there is a feature request to make this even easier.
Regards,
Hopki

Hi Mr. Hopki,
Thank you very much for your fast reply.
I have used the user data but just one (user information - $ui)...
Best regard.

Dear Mr. Hopki,
Your solution requires 10 infoboxes and 18 previous and next buttons.
Is there any method just requires 1 infobox and 2 buttons?

Hi Nguyen,
You only need one forward button and a back button if you want to be able to scroll back and forth through the panoramas.
Which version of Pano2VR do you have, standard or Pro?
Let me know and ill build a quick project showing how this works.
Regards,
Hopki

Hi,
I used Pano2VR Pro, but just 3 panos and after everything is ok, i put another panos to complete. (Because my computer is very slow, it is a Core2Duo system with just 1GB Ram).
My PC has a Hopki folder and i have learned much from you.
Very respectfully yours,

Hi ducthanhpanos,
Sorry for the late reply but been away.
Please find attached a Pro project but works just as well in non Pro with a slight change which I will explain below.

1 Open the p2vr file and click Create All.
2 Ope either the Flash or HTML5 output.
3 Click the information button which also has next and previous buttons.

How it works:
As in my previous post the next node is listed in the user dater Source text box, as its Pro I used {nodeX}.
The skin buttons then use place holders to call the data from these text fields, so only one user data box and one button each for next and previous.

For non Pro, again in my post above instead of using the data for nodes, {nodeX}
You build all the separate project and then enter the file name of the node, example pano1.swf.

You will get an error in the HTML5 output when it gets to the last node. This is because its looking for data thats not there.
You can either loop it by adding the next node, example in node one you can add node three as the previous.
Or if you add tags to the start node and end node you can use a node marker to hide and show the buttons so when you get to the end the next button hides.

Regards,
Hopki

Dear Mr. Hopki,
Thank you for your support; i have done the using of $us & $ui procedure that you had teached;
The result is good whether in the first node and/or the last node in html5 output,
the flash output has problem, but i don't use the next and previous button in flash.
If the skin has many liking system, that not good for the viewer who don't have time to examine that linking system.

I will try the node markers procedure in your newest instruction.
Thank you very much and wish:
You & your family have a happy Christmas and New Year 2016...
by the way, how do you think about my Remote Control skin,
any comment and/or modification will be welcome.
Sincery yours,

Hi,
The skin is clever, I like the --/- button to select more nodes.
Iv done quite a bit of skin designing in the past and started with basic graphics as the skins were all about showing people how it was made so looking at the actions rather than the graphics.
In the end people just wanted me to make the skin with them sending me there images. If this is something you want to do then why not put a post in the commercial offerings section of the forum?

I would build up a portfolio and then post, outline your service will you just provide the skin, very limiting or will you build the tour for them. In my experience there are photographers out there that just want to take pictures.

Hopki
